Kinetic electrics, a simpler power solution!

Electricity, the modern-day necessity, is something our busy lives cannot do without. But having such easily accessible electricity requires many complicated wiring systems running through our homes and workplaces. So, what can be done to make bringing electricity to a new building, such as our cabins, easier?
One such solution is kinetic electrics, a term you may not be familiar with, but a simple piece of technology that does wonders for a building's electrical integration. For us, it can have a huge impact on how lighting works within our cabins. Our usual way of thinking about lighting is of it all being hardwired, from the mains to the switches, lights and outlets. This large complex network of wires can be made simpler by using kinetic switches and receivers to power on our lights and devices.
To explain it simply, the main power for a ceiling light can be wired through a receiver before reaching the actual light. A kinetic switch can then be paired and used to control that receiver. These switches have zero requirement for any wiring; that’s right, the switches to turn on the lights in a kinetic system don’t need to be wired up. This works by harnessing the kinetic energy produced from the simple flicking of the switch, which is just enough to send a signal to the receiver implemented in the circuit, turning it on.
The beauty of this is that the switch to control these receivers can be placed anywhere. Attached to a wall with adhesive pads or even magnetically, this flexibility allows these switches to be placed in the most convenient places for you. You could even have the main light switch right next to your favourite chair; simply remove the switch from the wall, and place it somewhere else!
It should be obvious now to think of how a kinetic electric system could be a massively beneficial system to have integrated into one of our cabins. Running an armour cable to a cabin to provide power and consequently having wiring leading down the walls to the light switches can be an eyesore, and not the look you want in your cabin. This unnecessary wiring can all be eliminated with a kinetic system, bringing faster implementation, cheaper installation costs, and zero disruption to your décor.
So, if you’re considering a cabin and wondering how the electrics would work, a kinetic electric system may be the ideal solution.
