See How Our Clients Use Their Log Cabins: Real-Life Inspiration

At Summerhouses Unlimited, we believe a log cabin is more than just a structure, it’s a space that enhances everyday life. Whether it’s for work, wellness, or pure enjoyment, our customers are turning their cabins into creative, functional, and meaningful spaces.

Here’s how our clients are using their cabins — in their own words:

A Peaceful Therapy Room

“We came across Summerhouses Unlimited in the search for a summerhouse to use as a therapy room in our garden. From start to finish, everyone was helpful and professional. We absolutely love our new space.”

Chameleon – The All-Round Garden Room

“Had the Chameleon installed with the full package including painting. Almost a year on, we’re still very happy. The cabin’s quality is brilliant and it’s settled into the garden beautifully.”

More Ways Our Clients Use Their Cabins

Many of our customers turn their cabins into purpose-built spaces tailored to their lifestyle needs. Here are some of the most popular uses:

Home Office - A fully insulated space away from the main house, ideal for focused work or running a business from home.

Garden Bar or Pub - From draught beer taps to fairy lights and music systems, your own private bar is the perfect place to unwind with friends.

Art or Craft Studio - Bright, quiet, and inspiring. A dedicated space for painting, sewing, sculpting, or any creative pursuit.

Hair or Beauty Salon - A stylish, professional space for at-home treatments — many clients have transformed their cabins into fully functioning salons.

Therapy or Treatment Room - Used for everything from counselling to massage therapy, cabins provide a quiet and welcoming space to support others.

Home Gym or Yoga Retreat - A private workout studio with everything from weights to underfloor heating and yoga mats.

Teenager Den or Games Room - Give teens their own retreat, with a TV, games console, bean bags and more — while reclaiming your own living room!

Guest Accommodation -Insulated and finished with comfort in mind, many cabins are used as guest suites complete with beds, sofas, and even en-suites.

Workshop or Hobby Shed - Whether it’s woodwork, DIY, electronics or model making — customers love using their cabins as a dedicated hands-on space.
